Virupaksh Killed
Thus Vanaras with their Limbs being sheared by Ravana’s Bhanams (Arrows with Feather) were lying in the battle Field. Like the Firemoths can’t near the raging Fire, Ravana’s being single handedly shedding Arrows Agni (Fire) was unapproachable & Unbearabe to them. Like the Elephants which are baked in the Forest Fire, Vanaras were tortured and tormented by the Ravana’s Arrows were screaming and ran away. Like the big wind scatters the clouds, Like wise with the velocity of his Arrows Ravana drew away Vanara Army. Thus making the Vanaras run helter skelter Ravana came to where Rama was.
Sugreeva seeing Vanaras running due to Ravana’s Battle prowess he entrusted to Sushena to guard them, he decided to battle it out with Ravana himself. Having handed over to Sushena who was equal in calibre to him to safe guard the Vanaras he plucked a Huge tree and challenged Ravana. On both sides and rear Vanaras accompanied him carrying huge Trees, and peaks of Mountains to supplement Sugreeva’s weapons. Sugreeva gorliy growling on his way he killed many a Rakshsasaas. Like the Wind during Deluge breaks the Trees on its path, Sugreeva felled Rakshasaas on his path. Like the Clouds shower Ice on Birds during Hail storm, Vanaras were pelting Mountains on Rakshasaas. Like rootless Mountains the Rakshasaas fell with their heads broken. Seeing the Rakshasaas dieting in scores all around; Virupaaksh announcing his name jumped from the Chariot and pounced on a Rogue Elephant. He harassed the Vanaras with Gory Arrows, allayed the Rakshasaas Fear, enthused them and stopped the Rakshasaas who were running away. Sugreeva having been piereced by the Arrows of Virupaksh decided to kill him. He plucked a huge Tree and hit it on the face of the Elephant, unable to bear the hit the Pachyderm fell like a bent bow and trumpheted in agony. That Rakhsasaa Virupaksh jumped from that and had a sword and the Shield covered with Buffalow skin, in his hands and challenged Sugreeva. Soon Sugreeva plucked a huge Cloud like Mountain and threw it on Virupaksh. The Rakshasaa swiftly back tracked and avoided being hit by it, with sword he slit part of Sugreeva’s body. Sugreeva was unconscious for 1 Muhurtham (1½ Hours). After recuperating he clenched his fist and hit Vrupaksh hard on his Chest. That Rakshasaaa ignoring that attack with his sword slit open Sugreeva’s Vest and kicked him away. Vanara King got up and slapped him so hard as thought it thundered. Deftly Virupaksha avoided it and clenching his fist hit Sugreeva on his Chest. This insult to the injury infuritated Sugreeva beyond Limits, watching the Rakshasaaa carefully, when he was slightly less careful, Slapped him hard on his Forehead. Due to their Blow Virupaksh head broke and coughing out Blood fell on the ground. His Eyes popping out, blurting out Froth & Blood the Rakshasaa fell rolling on the ground and crying out in great agony, seeing this made Vanara’s happy. Both the warring parties at logger heads looked like the 2 Seas in surge & swelling to cross the boundaries were waging a apiteched Battle with each other.Great Strong Virupakash was slained by Vanara King both Rakshasaas and Vanaras in fright and ecstacy looked like the Ganga River in spate.
