Lakshmana Consoles Rama
Hearing the sound created between Vanaras and Rakshasaas battle Rama called Jhambhavan “Friend! Hanuman seems to be doing some miracle looks like; or else such Noise will not be generated and heard by us. So you go with your army and and help him. So Jhambahvaan left with his Army Core for Western front and in midway saw Vanaras returning tired sighing heavily and Hanuman was leading them. Maruthi saw the Dark like rain bearing cloud Bears Army and asked them to return with him, and reached very quickly the place where Ram was with uncontrollable agony said “While we were fighting the Battle, in our very presence while Sita was yelling and bellowing Indrajith killed her. Seeing that I am totally numbed like a possessed person and my mental faculties are disoriented. I came here to inform you of this only” said Hanuman.
The moment Raghu Warrior (Rama) heard those words fainted due to sorrow and fell on the ground. Like the Angel when Rama fell on the ground all Vanara Leader rushed and sprinkled pure Lotus water on him. The Burning inferno once without Flames is quenched by water, was akin to that. Lakshmana just bent and hugged him close with himself under grief spoke to Rama with adequate basis and with Noble words expressed thus. (Rama losing all forms of Courage at the very mentioning of Sita’s demise, in order to motivate him said that as per Nithi Sashthra in such a situation, one should rely purely on Strength” and he proves it so.)
“You are an epitome of Virtue known as PithrVaakhya paripalanam (Implementing and Fulfilling Father’s words) and conduct yourself thus; You handed over the Kingdom when denied with out guile to Kaykeyiand King Dasaratha without any attachment demonstrating that you have won over the Indriyas. When you are such a
person without adequate evidences just by mere words ‘Rabit has horn’ I am not able to save you from the Kasht (Agony, purgatory, discomfort, trouble, hardhip, suffering, harassment, annoyance, travail) of adhering to Dharma. Likewise even the context of Adharma will be ineffective now. Because Ravana who adheres only to Adharma (Unjust, Unfaithful, Disrespectful to women, and all that has negative connotations) we are not able to stop him from getting all the Comforts of Life? I had already told you that fulfilling Father’s words is useless. When Dharma Adharma are the examples when you say ‘is it Live in Life? Experience or High sounding words?
If we say it can be seen Live. Moving and Non Moving things both of these are not aptly clear Like than can be seen by the 5 Jananedriyas such as Smelling, Seeing,Tasting, Touching, Hearing physically by us. Since they are not physically seen as above hence are non existant you can say. (In earlier sloka he says You are not able to enjoy as a Direct benefit of Dahrma adherence. Now he is showing physical example also can’t be seen - Theerthiyam) Like the Non Moving expresses itself and can be seen we should be able to see only by intellect. If that be the argument then also Why Ravana an Adharmic is enjoying and Rama a Dharmic is suffering? Why is it so?
It becomes that it can’t be seen as an example. If Adharam is true then Ravana should go to Hell. If Dharma is true then person like you shouldn’t be suffering like this. If one contends that Dharma & Adharma exist; similarly there are realities of compliance and the consqequnet Joy & Sorrw are a fall out, When all Living Beings have accepted that you are the Greatest Dharmic there should be nothing called Kasht (Agony, purgatory, discomfort, trouble, hardhip, suffering, harassment, annoyance, travail) should appear in Your case. Vice versa the scoundrel of the worldsRavana should not face any comfort being the Adharmic harassing all in all worlds by the same Logic. So far the things want to prove there are no means. (Theologies are not compatible with reality- Govind Rajheeyam). The Dharma which you have been protecting has due to Adharma’s consequence has given you Sorrow.Whereas the Adhrama professed by Ravana seems to have been benefitted by Dharma.The philosophy that Dharma will give Joy and Adharma will give Suffering is not True but Converse benefits has come true today.So one has to believe such Philopshy does not exist all. If you have seen that ‘that Dharma will give Joy and Adharma will give Suffering’ then shouldn’t You be getting Happiness since you are strong adherer of Dharma? Ravana shouldn’t be facing hardship? But the fellow who is only doing Adharma is having ever increasing Happiess. And Dharmavaan is having more and more sufferings.So Dharma and Adharma do not give requisite benefits certainly.
There are no evidences in Vedas for Dharma and Adharma. Even if Sinners get suffering due to Adharma is True, Punyavaan (Noble adherers of Dharma, consequently deriving Benefits finally for sure) is also True that Joy or Sorrow does not last beyond 12 Seconds (Time for 3 breaths); they collapse.What would they confer well being to whom? To whom are they going to give suffering? When the Good times do not last more than few seconds it is virtually impossible to get long lasting benefits by adherence of Dharma. It is like the Vedic sentence ‘Stones Float’ is akin to that. Is there any doubt even words of Vedas regarding Dharma and Adharma are empty words? But Karmas may not last for longer time, the Dities can give the requisite benefits. If some one is being tormented an some one else enjoying then wouldn’t affect the Ditey accordingly with suffering owing to the sinful karma or activity? But the person who benefits does not get involved in it. Similary the benefit of Dharma also goes to the Ditey only.
If you say “God is the personification who is happy with Good Activities (Karma) and Upset with Bad Activites (Karma)” then he is the one who gives Joy and Sorrows. The person who is deriving the Benefits /consequences has no attachemnts to it. (His Body). “Whereas for a King, playfully you create a thing called Fate; bless the person who follows it; show as though you punish the person who violates it; God also observes as though some one is monitoring it.If you say he punishes a person who does contrary to it, is he doing to satisfy himself? As God has everything and he does not need anything, our argument that he does it for satisfying himself will not be correct. It will also accrue to him a slander that he his partialin making one Brhamaand another Poverty stricken person. But he is creating the Billions of Living beings as per their Karmas (Good or Bad deeds) , we can say that he could have created only Good fellows. As a person knower of all isn’t a fault he is not doing so? Why can’t you say he doesn’t have compassion? If you say as per the flow of Karma Time dimension he gives the intellect to do Punya (Good deeds) and Sin, then how come for one person has Misery all the time? Another has only Luxury / Happiness all the time? This is because that based on the Karma (Good or Bad Activity / Deeds) in this Birth he gets intellect do to Good Karma. Due to Good Karma next Birth also should have the right intellect. Due to bad karma next Birth also he may get bad intellect which in turn prompts him to do Sin. Thus one should go on benefitting by Good Deeds or suffer Misery from Bad Deeds.I t is not seen so in this world; it is happening unjustifiablly.
But there is a miraculous Power which ensures benefit while doing our Karma. So we have call it as ‘Dharma’. If you say this is true then Bye experience , Physical presence, is not seen, it has no shape, it is difficult to attain this Shreyas(best Long lasting well being) by this Miraculously powerful Dharma. If there is thing called Dharma , then Dharmic person like you Rama should never have Kasht(Agony,purgatory, discomfort, trouble,hardhip, suffering, harassment, annoyance, travail). Now you are experiencing unbearable Agony so there is nothing called Dharma.
Since the task is not visible, so there is nothing called Dharma. How can we say so just because we are not able to see its benefit? We may have to say, it does not exist as the same is not accessible to Indriyas. Dharma is an important reason
which is supported by Manliness. Suppose if We can say’ Due to lack of Manly support Dharma did not give benefit’ .
Then you derive ‘Dharma can’t give benefit unless it is supported externally’. And that only be the Strong man support can Dharma give benefit. So I feel that we need not observe such a Dharma which is unjust, does need strength from outside, can’t independently give benefit of Happiness. In achieving a Task, Dharma due to Strength becomes an integral Part, instead we should worship Manliness the same way and observe same. **(‘Only Dharma will protect you finally, Sathyam (Truth) only will prevail ‘we should believe, soaked in this Philosophy should sink in our in Conscience, Memory, Intellect and Ego always and have Peace in Leading our Life – Janakapuri Arul Vakku (Hymns of grace).
Though ordinary Dharma amy fall in the net of above mentioned fallacies this is not applicable to the Special Dahrma called ‘Observance to Sathyam’ does have these short falls. Why it Is difficult is because ‘You believe one should not falter on one’s word’. Our Father promised ‘I will coronate You as Prince’, since he did not do that he faltered on Sathyam. You are the treasure trove of Kalyana Gunangal (Auspicious Noble Virtues) aren’t you his eldest son? Without least bit of sympathy did he not drive you out of kingdom into the Vagaries Hardships of Forest Life? He deserves to be chained and kept in safe custody. Aren’t we supposed to punish those faltering Dharma as prescribed in Sashtras (Vedic Testaments)? While you said you will do Pithru Vaakhya paripalanam (Implementing and Fulfilling Father’s words) why didn’t you do so of punishing him? Further it was ‘Father’sword’ which he gave in presence of all Citizens that you will be coronated as Prince. Similarly it was ‘Father’s Word’ which told you to go to Forest. While both were told by him, You only fulfilled the later one. It is apparent that you did not fulfill Sathyam properly.
In Dharam& Adharma King should not be totally engrossed in observing one of them only. Suiting to the Time, environmental situation isn’t that he right way to conduct oneslelf?if one was fated that‘ One should only observe Dahrma’ then Indra need not have Killed Saint Vishwaroopa and then made amends by doing Yaga . If one were to observe only Adhrama all the while then Indra need not have killed Vishwaroopa and then done Yaga. Killing him alone was enough. Indra, Yama, Varuna, Barjahnaya are the Kshatriyas in Devas as per Sruthi, Kshatryiya Indra had followed Dharma and Adharma suitable for the Time and occasions. If one were to observe Dharma and Adhrama separately with fanaticsm in one go , such a person gets mauled. Hence they should be observed as is needed by the respective occasions.
There is no doubt on the above said words. For one to observe Dharma one needs Money / Wealth. Because you threw away the Kingdom which came to your hands you lost wealth. How can you then govern Dharma? Like Rivers generate from Mountains, You have to protect the Subjects, accumulating slowly the 1/6th ie 16.66% Tax collected in a planned manner becomes the foundation for doing Yaga, Yagnya, Charity and other rituals. Like in summer small rivers dry up, the Kriyas (Religious Rituals) done by a Poor person does not allow them to get fulfilled. As you forego Wealth not only the Dharma doesn’t get done; since slander also happens. A person who had since Birth lived in opulence forsake’s Wealth, since he can’t be without the comfort enjoyed earlier will try to earn the wealth even in an unjust manner; that will lead to Sin. Only the wealthy has friends; even relations smother him; Wealthy is called the Learned man; Wealthy is the Man; Person who is not wealthy is like a Hapless Lady; Welathy is Mightier; Wealthy is Intellignent; wealthy is valorous; Only wealthy is considered to be of pure conduct with good Virtues. By forsaking the Wealth the forementioned fallacies are earned. By You foresaking the Kingdom, what were you anticipating to earn as Virtue and went to Forest? I am not able to decipher same. Everything will go favourable for the person having wealth in doing his Dahrma and Karma. Having lost, then making all efforts to regain same , I do not see possibility of getting it. We should not think one can earn with wealth only Artha (Materialaistic - Financial comfort), Kama (Desire- fulfilling comforts of senses) but they are adorned by the following Happiness, Comfort, Pride, Dharma, Anger, Humility, Peace as well. It is not giving the best in the outer world; even in this world it gives all the comforts is Wealth. By a person who observes only Dharma but ingnoring the wealth there is no comfort for them in this world. Like the Sun will not be seen without it’s rays when covered by clouds iam not able to see rays of wealth which is required for comfort. Kingdom which is the root for all well being were forsaken by you and Pithru Vaakhya paripalanam (Implementing and Fulfilling Father’s words) now see the Kasht (Agony, purgatory, discomfort, trouble, hardhip, suffering, harassment, annoyance, travail) You are now undergoing. Your Wife Janaki who was more dearer than your Life was abducted by Rakshasaas. So with my might I am going to erase the Keduthi (Calamity, Misery, Catastrophe, Harm, Evil, Havoc) caused by Indrajith. Hey Jewel of Ragu Clan! Please get up. I will do tit for tat and remove your agony. Why didn’t you remind yourself that Your Human form of the Omni present God? Do you have Sorrow or Desire? Where are the reasons for them? Hey epitome of Virtues, here I am born to fulfill your aspirations. My being with you constantly is to be of yeomen service unto your good selves. Janaki (Sita) is the darling daughter of Brahma Gyani (Sage who knew God & the Entire universe) Janaka, who having been killed by the wicked Indrajith I am now possessed by uncontrollable Anger. I will decimate Lanka, it’s Chariots, Elephant, Horse cavalries, Army commanders and Ravana with my Bhanas. Due to anger I admonished Dharma by Debate tactics. I now await Your permission to use my Valour. (Slokas 41)
