Then sani came to know because Dasratha wanted battle him out as he wanted to save his countrymen from Famine of 12 years, sani was pleased with his noble thought and courage and agreed and Dasratha sang in praise of him. Not only that Sani promised Dasaratha that never again will he enter the V in Rohini and also promised not to affect those persons who are affected by Sanidasha in 4,8th and 7 ½ provided they repat the Dasratha Sthothram. As citizens living in Ayodhya were comfortable , hence they were always Pious and Righteous in their outlook and approach to Life. They had learnt Sashtras from Gurus hence were a Learned lot; they were content with what they had and did not have interest on other’s belongings. The Ayodhya citizens always spoke the Truth. Both men & women had control of their senses by nature had good character and habitual orderliness and were clean like sages in their thoughts.

Dasratha ruled Ayodhya like the Vaiwasvatha Manu. The soldiers ensured that. They were adept in Archery and Missile usage. They will not tolerate insult metted out to others. They were simple people and not cunning. They had unmeasurable pride in their valour, hence the enemies could not enter their country; just like one would not venture Lions infested cave/den. Apart from foot soldiers there were Cavalry Army with pure breed of countless no of Horses raised in Khambhoj, Bahleek, Vanaayasindhu which were comparable to Uchaisiravais of Indra.
He had Elephant brigade raised from Elephants of Himachal and of Following Race/breed such as Iraavath, Mahapadhma, Anjhan,. When they moved it was like Mountains moving, always full of Pride. They had many divisions known as Pathram, Manthram, Mrigam, Pathramanthram,Patrhamrigam,Mrigamantrha.
