Battle with Vajhradhamshtra
Hearing of Dhoomraksh’s death Ravana was furious, with his senses shaking like the Kala Sarpum (Serpent or Lasoie Rope of death which ties it's Noose around Living beings at the time of their Death, when their Life span is over) hissing spoke to the greatly strong Vajhradhamstra “Hey Crown of Warriors! You with adequate Army of your choice go and erase Rama Laskshmana and their Army and return” said Ravana.
Vajhradhamshtra replied “I will do as per your order” did pradhkshinam of Ravana with countless Regiments / cavalries of Elephants, Horses, Yaks, Camels, with Chariots with Masts and Flag. Staff, Thomar (Conceptual weapons used are soul smashers beat opponent not Physically but with the weigth of soul), Trident, Ulakai (War Hammer made of Melted Iron), Spear, Pasha, Shakthi (Lancer with pointed spear or Multi pointed Spear from Spherical ball with many sharp spear extensions), Wheels, Mace, Sickle, and other weapons with novel Asthra (Missiles), Ornaments decorated foot soldiers, surrounded by them started for the war. With purest Keyur Ear lobe balls with Vest, with quiver on the back full of arrows, Holding his Bow in ahnd went around his chariot as a mark of respect mounted the same. The Elephants which have been well trained for war fare, were looking like Moutain striding along. Famed warriors were on top of the same. Like the rain bearing cloud with lightning streaks thunder, the Rakshasaa Army with it’s black colour bodies adorned with shining Armamaments & Ornaments making a Lion like roar, growling making Attakasam (Loud Laughter unaware of bad time nearing, overjoyed, ruckus behaviour) the Army started for the war. Angadha who had sieged the South Fort entrance when they came out the Rakshasaas saw the burning embers falling from the sky. Foxes were coughing out Flames of Fire and were howling wildly. Wild animals with their horrendous voices were indicating of the destruction of Rakshasaas with ill timed omens. Seeing this Rakshaaas were afraid and confused and were floundering caught between Scylla and Charibdis (Tyrant Ravana & Vanara Army). Vajhradhamashtran ignoring all these since he was warrior of excellence, full of illuminence and Magician too, embracing courage, with a desire to fight out the battle marched his Army. Seeing them the Varas roared amd made all directions tremble with their voices of approval.
Then both sides ominous looking waged a pitched battle each one wanting to win over the other. Some were over enthusiastic and fell with their head broken bodies lit open with Blood pouring they fell on the ground. Some were incessantly using weapons and not retreating the steps taken ahead sagaciously fought he war. Falling of trees, Mountains, Boulders the noise generated made both sky and Earth tremble. The pulling of strings after bending the bow that Dankaram, Blowng of Conch, Bugles, Beating of berigai, Drums,, Mridhangametc in fusion with Moaning, crying, wailing, anguishing noises made one speechless & Motionless. Some ahvign spent all their weapons on hand fought with bare hands Rakshasaas were hit by hands, fist, kicked by legs and knees had fallen down injured with Limbs broken with bodies split / split . Some Rakshasaas became Thool (Pulverised, Powdered, crushed to smithereens, decimated, destroyed) by the Mountains which Roughish Vanaras threw. Vajhradhamshtra with his piercing arrows made Vnaras run for cover, looked like the Yama dazzling with his Laso, during deluge of the world.Rakshasaas who were adept in Astra (is an individually targetted or WMD missile-type weapon that is to be hurled at an enemy. Seeing this Angadha got uncontrollable Anger like the Wind God during Deluge (Typhoon of Category 7) Taking a Huge tree went on destroying Rakshasaas like the Lion kills the puny animals. Angadha whose eyes were red with anger, despite the Rakshasaa warriors were of immense Valor their heads were broken, Limbs sheared and fell them to the ground like trees uprooted during storm. The battle field was full of Chariots, Horses, Raksasaas and Vanaras duly adorned by Amaments and Ornaments with Blood flowing, that field looked a Summer night. Like the clouds get dispersed by huge wind, that huge Rakshasaa Army got disturbed by Angadha’s Speed (Slokas35)
