Sugreeva Pacifies Lakshmana
Tara’s words were humble and were in conformity to Dharma and Lakshmana thought about it. By nature he is very soft and feel for others. After accepting those words,like one removes the wet clothes, Sugreeva cast aside his fear. Then he is overhang due to Drinks was gone and removed the Garlands and said “ Earlier I had lost all the wealth, Fame and the Vanara Kingdom; with Rama’s mercy I got them back. I am unable to reply him who is famous in all the worlds. He will keep me for namesake and will kill Ravana will bring back Sita. The great warrior who with single arrow peireced 7 Trees, Mountain and earth does he need help? One who makes Earth , Mountains to tremble with the reverberations of his Bows Strings, what is there for others to accomplish? When Rama goes to kill Ravan with entourages, I will also go with him. If I have erred please pardon me due to your Friendship and Loyalty. There is none in this world who has not done wrong doing thus Sugreeva said with Humility to Lakshamana.
Hearing that Lakshmana was happy and liked him as well and said “ Since you are humble, loyal, there is no dearth of help from any quarters. You are worthy of enjoying the Luxuries of Vanara Kingdom with Straight forwardness, Prowess and Good Conduct. With your support Rama will destroy all the enemies get special Fame. You know the habits of Humans and their conduct,behavior Dhrama attached to it; you would not retract on the Battlefield; Your speaking like this behoves of you. Persons who have the ability to vanquish those who create Dosh(Fallacy) will normally hide their Doshas and will not exhibit. Even though you have limitless Power, you have accepted your Dosh fallacy and asked for my pardon. Are there any one except you and my Elder brother Rama? Is it not due to Divine Dispensation that Great Valourous person like you has become Rama’s worthy friend ? But you come to Prasravana and come and console Rama who Is grieving for Sita. I got enraged because of his sorrow and spoke harsh words, please pardon me for the same” Said Lakshmana. (Slokas 20)
