Indrajith Starts For War
Ravana hearing the death of Makaraksh got angry and ground his teeth and was wondering what he should do and sent Indrajith to the Battle “Hey Rakshasaa Warrior! Rama Lakshmana are Limitlessly Valorous, You only have to win over them. Wheter you wage War with them Directly or in Hiding is there any one equal to you? You had won over the matchless Indra in Battle. Are these puny Humans are of any significance to you?” said Ravana.
Indrajith accepting Ravana’s order, in the Battle field as per procedure conducted Homa (sacrificial offering in Fire pits to Gods, Celstials by invoking prayers / Vedas). Then Rakshasaa Ladies brought Red coloured Turbans / Head gear( The conducting Priests have to wear Red head gear in conducting of Homa-Sruthi). He came to the Battle field, kept guard of his chariot with the help of Army encircling it. Started Agni (Fire) and chanted the popular Manthras (Verses), as per procedure offered baked Rice as Ahuthi (sacrificial offerings During Homa in Agni kundaie Fire Pit), battered Rice, Garlands, Perfumes and did Homa (sacrificial offering in Fire pits to Gods, Celstials by invoking prayers / Vedas). Normally around Agni Kushal Grass (Dharbai) are spread, in lieu of same he had kept war weapons such as Thomar (Conceptual weapons used are soul smashers beat opponent not Physically but with the weigth of soul ) and other weapons. The tree Vipeethaha was used as Samith or peices of wood for the Homa. The Garment he wore was Red in colour, and the Utensiles and the spoons were made of Black Iron. Thus in the Battle field he had ignited Agni, offered as a sacrifice beheading the neck of a Black Goat. Due to the special Samith (pieces of wood) the Agni (Fire) was dazzling without Smoke. Indrajith shone with the belief he will be Victorious, and was Happy. With the Flames going around in circles in Clockwise Direction Agni (God of Fire) took the Human Form with all oranaments of Keyur, Garlands Kundalas accepted the offering of Havis (Cooked Rice). Thus satisfying Agni, Deva and Rakshsaa Entourages, mounted the Divine Chariot and Vanished into the Sky Lane.It had 4 Horses tied to it; Choicest Bow and sharpest Bhanas were kept there; the Chariot had Gold carvings of Animals, Moons, Unique Designs on it. Its Mast was dazzling with Gold and Lapiz Lazuli. He was protected by the Shining Brhamasthra. Indrajith assumed immense strength and the Vitality of Enemies. He came out of Lanka with Rakshasaa Manthras (Niriruthidevatha Manthara) magically disappearing said ‘I will kill these deceitfully dressed Rama Lakshmana as saints Enemy of my Father today in the Battle and give my Father Victory’. From today in the earth there will be no trace of Vanaras ( Ape men-Gorrilas- Godzillas- Orangutans-Chimpanzees- Apes- Monkey Longt ailed, yellow eyed- red mouth- pink,grey-black coloured- small – big sized –Learned- playfull all types of Monkey clan) thus will create utopian Happiness to the King and all Rakshasaas” said Indrajith.
Very soon he moved into the Battle Field, Seeing Rama Lakshmana bending their Kothandam were killing Rakshasaas in hordes like the 3 Headed Serpents And got enraged by the same. (Head beteeen the 2 Broad shoulders is depicted as 3 headed) “The People I should Kill are these” deciding thus, he bent his Bow, he pierced them with Bhanas incessantly. Thus being tormented from the Sky unseen, They mounted a Bhana in the Bow and Chanted and invoked the Divine Power. With their Arrows they covered the Sky, and hitting him with the Arrow with Sun’s Aura also did not near or deter him.Due to the greatness of thatRakshasaa the Sky was totally clouded with Darkness, Smoke, Fog all mingled to become smog and all directions. Neither he nor the sound of his Chariot was seen in that darkness. But his Narasa is an arrow which has the tip which is either full round or ½ round like a crecent moon..were falling relentlessly , Having obtained Aweinspiring Miracle Boons with rage he went on piercing Rama with Bhaanas with dazzling Bhanas in all parts of the Body ;himself being invisible. Like the waterfall in the mountain they were continuously attacked by Indrajith and thus they the blood was profusely bleeding from them, They inturn Launched on him Bhanas(Arrows with Golden banding with Feathers) on Him. Like the Birds they flew very fast pierced him and the blood soaked Bhanas fell on the ground. They Bhanas shot by him were thrwarted sagaciously by Rama Lakshmana. From the location where the Arrows ere falling they approximblossomedated his Location and launched the choicest of Bhanas , Whereas Indrajith in high velocity was on the move all the time all over, he tormented Rama Lakshaman with sharp Bhanas unabated. They had pierced in all parts of their Bodies, with Blood seeping out, they were like the Trees which have just blossomed. That Rakshasaa Prince was neither Visible physically, nor his movements, Bow or Arrows were visible. He appeared often like the Sun amidst the Clouds. He was a great Mayaavi (Mystic / Sorcerer and Magician/ Hypnotic / exponent in deception with ability to vanish into thin air and appear in sky far away or nearby). Because of his attack Vnaras died in Hundreds and fell on the ground.
Seeing that Lakshmana got Angry - “Anna (Elder brother)! I will turn all Rakshasaas into Ashes in a few seconds by using Brahmasthra”. Rama replied “Child! it is not like that. It is not justifiably correct to kill all Rakshasaas for the sake of one person’s attrociies. Here there are many who are not fighting battle, also those who have gone from the scene, those with folded hands seeking refuge, those who running away, those who are not alert, It is not Dharma to kill them. This Lowly person with his Mayaa Strength hiding himself and his Chariot. If he is sighted by the Vanaras they will not spare him with his Life. Even if he gets into the Earth or Vanishes into Sky or hides in Paathal (Beneath the Earth), or Vanishes in Heaven My Bhana will chase him burn him push him as a corpse in the Earth “having said thus started contemplating ways to kill this cruel Rakshasaa Indrajith.
