Rama gives Ring to Anjhaneya
Then Sugreeva decided that Hanuman is Greatest amongst Vanaras, he is Valorous, and one who commplishes task entrusted to him, he called him aside “ I know you do not have any obstructions in going to Earth, Space(Sky), Heaven, Bhuvar Loka and other places. All the Asuras, Gandharvas, Nagas, Devathas, Humans ,Oceans, Mountains, all Worlds are all known to you very well.Aren’t you equal to yout father Vayu(God of Wind) in Walking speed, Speed, Aura ? There is none to match you in Charismatic Aura. Hence iam totally reliant on you in searching and finding out Sita. Strength,Intelligence, Valour, and conducting according to the Time, Country is your forte.Strategy tactics are yoru Virtues apart from the above” thus Sugreeva appreciated Hanuman.
Rama also thought “ Hanuman is eager in accomplishing my task.Sugreeva assigns all the ressponsibilites to him only. I feel he is capable of accomplishing this task. Necessary tactics, tools, methods, and the ability to find solutions to any hindrances that may occur he is aware. He so far with his awesome achievements and also the trust his master has reposed on him, there is no doubt that he will fulfill my task.” Seeing Hanuman was ready to leave he was happy, as though, his thoughts have fructified. Then he took the ring in which his name was engraved and gave the ring to Sita as an evidence “ With this evidence Sita will know that you have been sent by me and without hesitation trust you and convey the message through you. Seeing your efforts, strength,Valour and the trust Sugreeva has in you I am of the conviction that my task has been achieved” said Rama.
Anjhaneya also took the Ring with great reverence, with hands raised above his head with folded hands bowed to Rama and decided to leave. Like the Moon with Stars shine in a clear cloudless sky, when Hanuman was starting with that Vanara Army “ Anjhaneya! Boundless Valourous Vayu’s son! I am depending on your matchless Manliness and Strength. Somehow I have to get Sita and it is your responsibility.”Said Rama to Hanuman. (Slokas 17)
