Kara killed
Rama seeing Kara standing without any Weapon, killing him is a dharma (Unrighteous / unjust), Rama looked at him, whose intellect had dimmed and said with smile “You Rakshasaa grass is that all your Strength? Hapless you, why should you have unnecesaary fame? See here, your Mace I have with Arrows destroyed it. You survive by your talking; you are empty in actions. You had Promised that you will wipe the tears of relations of these dead Rakshasaas, even that has gone waste? Like Garuda usurps the Elixir, I will take away your life you measly chatterbox. I will make the Earth drink the blood coming out of Earth with froth. Like one with the body full of dirt and hugging one’s consort and lying on the ground; you will lie hugging the ground. While you are going to be fainted in the eternal sleep, the Sages who were hither to without refuge will live happily fearlessly in this Forest. With my Arrows I have severed the Rakshasaa Army from its roots, I will make these Sages live in this Jhanasthan without fear. The Ladies of Rakshasaas who were hitherto scaring, will now cry having lost their relations Lament and go running away. Your wives who had not so far seen what is agony, were ill treating others with the same bad conduct of people like you. Now they will know what is suffering, will not enjoy the comfort of those who live in this world. You Cruel, Measly person, Lowly, the enemies of Saints, Saints were afraid / Trembling from you while performing Agnihothra (Religious offering by reciting Vedic Verses in the Sacrificial Fire Pit with Ghee (Melted butter) and other materials to Gods / Celestials)“. Rama drilled him with weapons of Words.
Kara unable to bear same with anger he gave a thunderous Laugh “Your arrogance has gone into your head, now Your fear is sitting in your Hair, you are not aware of the same. Because your Death is nearing you, your are Lamenting without knowledge, When Yama’s rope of death falls on you, your senses will be lost, and does not know the actions” - thus he chided Rama and raised his eyebrows, removed the Acha tree from it’sroots and biting his lips “You are Dead” saying this he threw the Tree on Rama.
Rama tore apart that Tree with his Arrows thought “How long should I be battling with him?” after getting fed up, he decided to kill him. He felt bad for Kara “Person who is going to Die, who has no refuge, neither he has any anguish nor remorse or good thoughts (intellect), Not one of them is seen in him” thinking like this he got enraged , with fiery eyes, body sweating, with many Bhanas (Arrow with Feather) he split open his body. Like the waterfalls from a huge Mountian, Blood ran like Flood. Then he stood still not knowing what to do, then he with blood thirsty vigour came running at Rama. Since he was so close and Rama could not bend the bow and shoot the arrow, when he came fast, Rama went backwards fast. Further the blood was oozing there was no space for him to use the Bow and Arrow.
Then Rama decided to take his Life away, he used the Bhanam (Arrow) given by Indra to him. That shone like Fire and dazzled like Brahma dhand. It fell like a Huge Thunder bolt on the Chest of Kara. Kara was burnt by the Arrow and fell on the ground. It was
similar to Yama who was burnt by Rudra’s Fire near Swaythaaranya where Kaveri and Ocean merge. Like the Vrudhaasura who was killed by Vajhrayudha of Indra, Kara was killed by the Rama Bhana which never misses its target. Like Namuchi who was killed by the Froth, Kara was killed playfully. He died like Valasura who had immense Pride.
Then the Saintly Kings and Sages who had assembled there became Happy and Worshipped Rama and celebrated him. “The jewel of Raghu Clan! Indra came to Sage Sarabhanaga’s Ashram for this only. Sharabahanga sent you to Sudheeshana’s ashram. He in turn sent you to Agasthya. Saints called you only to invite you closer to Kara. The weapons were given to Agasthya for this purpose only. As per Saint’s suggestions only Indra came to Dahandakaaranya. You have fulfilled our prayers. You have killed these cruel Sinners. Hereafter the Saints will fearlessly do their Dharma”. While this was being said Celestials and their entourages showered Flowers on Rama with Veda and Dhundhubhi were sung. Within 3 Nazihigai (1hour 12 minutes) you have killed dangerous 14,000 Dangerous Rakshasaas, Kara, Dhooshana, Thirisiras, and other great Warriors all of them single handedly, standing on the Earth, with Piercing Arrows destroyed who will not know the Fame of Rama? What Valour? What Manliness? What sagacity? We saw this with Maha Vishnu Chakrapaani” - thus celebrating Rama they went back to their respective places.
Meanwhile Lakshmana along with Sita came out of the Cave and saw the Valour of Rama and was very happy. Then Rama victoriously entered his Ashram duly felicitated by Lakshamana.
Sita was worried earlier, how Rama will be able to fight the 14,000 Cruel Rakshasaas. They were destroyed in 1 Muhurtham (approx.1½ hours). Sita who can understand the Valour of the Warriors being born in Kshatriya Kul, in appreciation of his valour, she hugged Rama endearingly. Till date Sita had not seen in the battle field. She could not see him while he was battling. So she saw Rama the Lord of the World with Jayalakshmi (Goddess of Victory) and she wanted to experience this happiness with her Eyes as long as possible. The Boulders, Trees, Arrows, Weapons had caused injuries all over the body, and the Blood was flowing in torrents. The sweat was seen in pores of Hair. Removing the shield he slightly leaned on the Kothanda his Bow. Is there anyone else more worthy than Sita to see the body of the Protector of the World? The Matted hair tied by creepers and the Quiver hanging on his back, and the serene Face after having burnt the Rakshasaas with Enraged Fire. Rama was looking to Sita and Lakshmana‘s path. He was having fleeting glances whether the Rakshasaas by chance were returning. Were there any one else who was fortunate to see Rama like Sita and Lakshmana? Sita has only heard of Rama being a Great Warrior but never has seen the same alive. What good fortune has she done to receive Rama directly from the battle field? When Rama is in battle, she can see his Arrows but cannot see the enemy, only their corpses when they are dead. He can see them falling on the ground after they are dead.None can see Rama taking the arrows, stringing, and shooting them. Though there were Celestials, saints in hordes the Arrows will get target only enemy Rakshasaas. And not those who had come to witness them like Saints or Celestials.Don’t the Saints have power? Can’t they destroy these Rakshasaas and turn them into Ashes in few seconds with Power of their Penance? But the protector of all the worlds, there should not be any diminishing to the God’s form and fame, and also his promise to come to Forest and fulfill his promise to his father, they refrained and waited for his arrival and thy were having immense faith in his promise / Dharama that he will protect those who do Charanagathi to him and surrender to him. of course they are able to see him physically exclusively at close quarters, which is not feasible even if they attain Moksha or Heaven.Their pleas ‘See the Wounds in the Bodies of Saints who have suffered because of Rakshasaas in Dhandakaaranya’ he had now vanquished the Rakshasaas from their roots and thus he reconfirmed that he is the Lokanatha (Lord of the World, who is there to protect always). Since Rama was alone and she heard only the Enemies sound and the ovation only she was afraid and till then and was hapless. She on seeing him who is the epitome and Fulcrum of Victory of all righteous things became her normal self. Vedas (Doctrines of Hindus) say that Wife is ½ of Man’s soul.In presence of Rama has the full Energy and Praanan (Life force, Last Breathe, that without which causes Physical and medical Death). When she is separated from him, she feel they are absent. Anxious to see her Husband coming back Victoriously she came running out from the cave. Her unabated happiness was a hair raising experience. Is it a surprise that the Pincess of Mythila was ecstatic to see the Showriya (Courage, Valour) of Rama?
Then overcome with emotion not knowing what she was doing went and hugged him on her own, Sita is the Universal Mother. Rama had agreed to do her duty of protecting the entire world and accomplished same, may be as a reward was it the reason for her sudden outburst? Sita is Jaganmatha (Universal Mother) who with Her mere glace alleviates the agony of all the Living beings, probably saw Rama’s wounds in the body, was it due to this Mercy She hugged him to heal his wounds?
Every Rakshasaa saw Rama Individually for himself. After the war Rama came back to normal self was it this transformation of Rama the unconquerable that Sita was enamoured that she hugged him. Even Celestials along with their Lord Indra could not face the 14,000 Rakshsaas, Rama single handedly, without any Vehicle, within 1 hour 12 Minutes without endangering himself, playfully decimated them all and now standing in front of her. Once earlier Sita had uttered “I am de-frauded thinking you are a Man, He did not know that you are an unmanly coward. Oh my! I am gone” For that Abacharam (Disrespectful behavior, discourteous, uncivilized) as a reproachment for same did Sita hug Rama by brushing aside the inborn shyness & humility of women? Rama had vowed that he would protect the Pious, destroy the Dhust (Wicked, cruel), re-establish Dharma in each Yuga (Millions of years) he will take Avathar (incarnation). Today he had vanquished the Rakshaas in Jhanasthan from the roots, with his Divine Mangalam (Auspicious well being, accrue happier moments, shower in brighter times ahead) form Rama had given Blessings. Those hapless parents in order to stop the Child’s crying and appease their requirements promise to do some thing. This is done just to pacify them. But Rama had promised his Pious Children (Saints) that ‘I will destroy the Rakshasaa Clan and protect the world and ensure Sukam (Comfort)’ these words were not just to appease the crying child temporarily but to fulfill them truly. There is no other thing greater than your reward to them for their unstinted prayers. In Panchavati, when Lakshamana constructed the parnashala, since you did not have anything to offer him to convey the appreciation of your happiness, Did you not you simply hugged him and conferd on him all the Purusharthas {(1) Dharma-Righteous conduct - Duty- Pious- humble-Charity -being Noble (2) Material-money, (3) Desire - ambition-Children, (4) Moksha - Attain God’s feet}? Similarly I also on behalf of our children (Saints) in appreciation of our gratitude hugged you for the Awesome strength / Valour you had exhibited in this battle was this the reason Sita hugged Rama? The Rakshaas were destroyed and their corpses were lying with Blood flowing and floating all around, but Rama was without any lurking danger was standing smiling this made Sita blissful. The Saints and Sages who were now rid of trouble makers, appreciated and celebrated Rama. Unable to contain her affection in her Heart she hugged Rama who Face was like the blossomed Full Moon once again. ‘Had I not been born as Janaka’s Daughter would I have had this Bhagayam (fruits of good deeds of past Births)? ‘Had I not been born in the Videha Lineage would I have married Rama? By the hand which Ram holds the Kothandam (Bow & Arrow) he held my hand (marital Vow) but for that would he have hugged me along with Jayalakshmi (Goddess of Victory) equally? When Rama broke the Paramasiva’s Bow, my father who made me and my clan salves of this Jaganathan (Lord of World) he is not here to see his Son in Law in this attire and enjoy the bliss, has he not done this Bhagyam?” thus thought Sita.
