Slaying of Generals
Surpanaka came to Rama’s ashram showed to the Rakshasaas Rama and Lakshmana, they saw the great Valorous Rama was seated along with Sita and Lakshmana in their Parnashala. Rama seeing those Rashasaas and Surpanaka got enraged called the angry Lakshmana and said “for short while please take care of Sita, I will send these people who have come behind this Rakshasi (Surpanaka) to yam lok (ie Place all go after Death) said Rama. Lakshamana consented for same.
Rama strung his Big Bow which was decorated with Golden bandings. As he does Dharamyudha he asked the Rakshasaas “We are the sons of Dasaratha, we have come to this forest to Live with my wife Sita. When we are leading the life of Thapasvis by eating the Roots and Fruits why you are troubling us? Since the Saints had ordered me to kill you all Dhust (Scoundrel, bad, wicked, cruel, cunning, rascal, Villainous, devil, evil, nasty, heinious) I have brought my Arms here. Now the time has come. Please stay there happily, do not run away. If you want to Live, please run back” said Rama.
Those Sinners who kill Brahmins took their Tridents with anger said “How can you be still alive after antogonising our King Karan? We will kill you in one minute. After all you little Human can you face we warriors in a battle? Let the battle remain, come become a prey for our swords, Mace (Gatha), and may your Bow, Courage and Life become their food simultaneously” said they and threw the Tridents on Rama. He destroyed them with a Single Arrow. The sharp piercing Arrow which can drill hole in Mountains and shining like Sun; 14 of the Narasa Arrows Rama strung them on the Bow like Indra uses his Vajhrayudha, he shot them on those Rakshasaas. Those arrows pierced and split open their Chest smeared with blood fell in the ground like Thunderbolt. Those Dhust (Scoundrel, bad, wicked, cruel, cunning, rascal, Villainous, devil, evil, nasty, heinious) with their heart split open lost their Life and fell like Trees whose roots have been cut. Surpanaka saw this and roared viciously and ran to Kara and with tears cried hoarsely. Like the Juice comes out on cutting the Palm tree. When the blood from her wounds stopped she fell In front of him.
Having seen all the Rakshasaas Slain Surpanaka went to Kara and told the whole history of the happenings.
